Construction on Westminster Blvd. Sewer Project Ongoing
Construction Update
This project replaces or rehabilitates nearly 3 miles of regional sewer pipelines along Westminster Blvd. in the cities of Seal Beach and Westminster. Currently, construction is only taking place in the City of Seal Beach between Seal Beach Blvd. and Bolsa Chica Rd. Over a 1/4-mile of pipelines have been installed so far.
Current work hours are Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. During work hours starting at 7 a.m., temporary closures of the #1 lane will occur.

Upcoming Construction
A second crew will begin construction between Kitts Hwy and Seal Beach Blvd. This work is anticipated to begin in September. More information will be provided as the work approaches.
Be Safe While on the Road
There is a lot of construction activity taking place. Flaggers are used to help safely maneuver vehicles and large pieces of equipment. Please be safe when traveling along Westminster Blvd. Keep your eyes on the road and reduce your speeds.

Project Description:
The project will replace and reconstruct nearly three miles of two parallel 36-inch diameter sewer pipelines on Westminster Boulevard between Seal Beach Boulevard and Rancho Road/Hammon Place in the cities of Seal Beach and Westminster.
This project is within the Western Regional service area.
