Westminster Blvd. Sewer Construction – Weekend Work
Weekend Work Scheduled
Westminster Blvd. headed towards Bolsa Chica Rd. in the City of Seal Beach
The sewer pipe installation has progressed to the point in which the project is almost at the Bolsa Chica Channel crossing. Thus far, most of the sewer pipe installation has occurred within the center median of the roadway. As the project progresses towards the City of Westminster, the sewer pipe will need to cross the westbound lanes of Westminster Blvd. towards the shoulder of the roadway. Planned additional work hours will occur for this phase of the project:
- Saturday, November 14. 6:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Additional Saturday/weekend work may occur in the coming weeks. The photo below shows demolition of the roadway in preparation to excavate for sewer pipe installation.
